Intro

This document is a guide on how to setup and use Corsano gateway system.

Corsano Gateway is a device that connects automatically to Corsano bracelets (287-2 and 287-1), downloads all the health data that has been measured by the bracelets and then uploads this data to the cloud database.

The gateway position

The gateway should be installed in a room where the patients (who wear the bracelets) spend more time. It is better to install the gateway on a wall or put it on a tall table at an ideal height of about 2 meters from the floor. There should be a free line of sight between the gateway and the bracelets. Any occlusion or physical obstruction (such as walls, cupboard, cabinets, windows, screens, tables) makes the communication between the gateway and the bracelets unstable and sometimes impossible. If multiple gateways are to be installed in the one room, it is better to put them apart from each other, not all on one spot.

How many gateways need to be installed

We recommend to install at least one gateway for every four active bracelets. The communication range between the gateway and the bracelets is usually about 10 meters. If patients are located in a big hall, more number of gateways are required. Since the communication signals do not path through the walls. At least one gateway is required in every patient room.

Powering the gateway

The gateway comes with a power plug. It turns on by plugging it to normal electricity outlet.
